Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the Interim City Manager to Accept a Donation from the Lodi Fire Foundation for an iSimulate Monitor in the Amount of $10,385.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
As the City of Lodi Fire Department continues to transition into an Advanced Life Support model, training is a high priority. The Lodi-Tokay Rotary provided a $3,000 grant to the Lodi Fire Foundation (LFF) and the LFF funded the remaining balance of the simulator cost.
The simulator will greatly assist the Lodi firefighters with advanced life support training as they prepare to implement paramedics on fire apparatus. The iSimulate monitor mirrors the cardiac monitors that firefighters will be utilizing in the future. It allows them to simulate, in real time, how to recognize and treat critical cardiac rhythms.
