RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Michael Donaldson to the Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee and John Stroh on the San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for two vacancies on the Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee on October 18, 2023, and one vacancy on the San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control on December 6, 2023.
Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee members are appointed for a term of four years. Therefore, Mr. Donaldson's appointment will commence immediately and end on January 1, 2028. San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control District members are appointed for a term of four years. The previous sitting member, Mr. Jack Fiori, was appointed by Council in 2021, to fill a term from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2026. However, Mr. Fiori retired from his appointment in December of 2023, which left a vacancy for the remainder of his term. Therefore, Mr. Stroh's appointment will be to fill the remainder of the term, which will commence immediately and end on January 1, 2026.
The Mayor reviewed the applications, conducted interviews, and recommends the City Council concur with the appointments as detailed below.
