Appointments to the Arts Commission, Lodi Improvement Committee, Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee and the Lodi Senior Citizens Commission, and Post for Vacancies on the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission (Student Members and Adult Advisors)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for vacancies on the Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee on October 18, 2023, vacancies on the Arts Commission and expiring terms on the Lodi Senior Citizens Commission on November 1, 2023, and expiring terms on the Lodi Improvement Committee on December 20, 2023.
The Mayor reviewed the applications, conducted interviews, and recommends the City Council concur with the appointments as detailed below.
In addition, there are five expiring terms for student members on the Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission and three expiring terms for adult advisors. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for all expiring terms until the positions are filled. Government Code Section 54970 et seq. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application.
