BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Mayor will present a proclamation proclaiming the week of April 28 - May 4, 2024 as National Small Business Week in Lodi. For more than 60 years, the U.S. Small Business Administration (“SBA”) has celebrated National Small Business Week, which acknowledges the critical contributions of America’s entrepreneurs and small business owners. This year, National Small Business Week takes place April 28 - May 4, 2024, and is when SBA officially recognizes the hard work, ingenuity, and dedication, of small businesses, including their contributions to the economy.
Therefore, in recognition of National Small Business Week, Mayor Craig, on behalf of the Lodi City Council, proclaims April 28 through May 4, 2024, as National Small Business Week here in Lodi and urges the residents of our community, and communities across the country, to support small businesses and merchants during this week and throughout the year.
