Mayor Bregman will recognize civic leaders in the Lodi in honor of Civic Learning Week, celebrated March 10-14, 2025.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Civic Learning Week is an annual event dedicated to promoting the importance of civic education and engagement. It encourages students, educators, and communities to participate in activities that foster an understanding of democratic principles, government processes, and active citizenship. The week aims to inspire individuals to become informed and responsible participants in their communities and society at large, fostering a sense of civic responsibility that can lead to meaningful societal change.
Mayor Bregman will recognize the following individuals:
• Bill Moersch - Community Service Team
• Chet Somera - Lodi Police Department Partner/Kiwanis Club
• Lawrence Bertalino - Kiwanis Club
• Neil Young - Lodi Unified School District Superintendent
• Geneva Mello - Rotary Club School Advisor
