RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Mayor Bregman will present a proclamation of recognition to Mohr-Fry Ranches for Marian’s Vineyard being awarded “2025 Vineyard of the Year.”

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Mohr-Fry Ranches is a historic, family-owned farming operation located in Lodi, California, with more than 170 years of agricultural heritage. The Ranch was established in 1855 by Cornelius Mohr, a Danish immigrant who left a whaling ship in San Francisco to farm on a Spanish land grant near Hayward, California. Mohr-Fry Ranch has evolved through six generations of the Fry family. Today, it is led by Jerry Fry and his son Bruce Fry who serve as President and CEO, respectively, and will be accepting the Certificate of Recognition for Marian’s Vineyard, awarded “2025 Vineyard of the Year” at the California State Fair.
