Mayor Bregman will present a proclamation commending Lodi Electric Utility for Exemplary Inventory Audit results for 2025.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Lodi Electric Utility Department (LEU) conducts an audit of all its inventory at the closing of each fiscal year. During the last week of June, LEU staff counted 1,497 inventory items that are supplied for the department. Items catalogued consist of small nuts and bolts, to transformers and utility poles used by LEU’s Linemen, Troublemen, Substation Technicians, and Electricians to perform their crucial work throughout the City. Lance, Soll, and Lunghard (LSL), the City’s third-party auditor, administered a review on June 30, 2025 and spot-checked information compiled by staff.
While the industry standard sit at a 2% error rate, the City of Lodi’s Electric Utility Department received a result of 0.00021%, exceeding the industry standard by 10,000 times.
Mayor Bregman expresses appreciation to LEU and its dedicated staff on their outstanding work in ensuring the department’s highest quality of service.
