BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Mayor has been requested to present a proclamation proclaiming the week of September 17-23 as Constitution Week in the City of Lodi.
Constitution Week raises awareness about the U.S. Constitution and its importance in shaping American Society. It promotes civic engagement, encourages citizens to participate in the democratic process and understand their rights and responsibilities as American citizens.
Mrs. Renee Garcia of the Daughters of the American Revolution will be present to accept the proclamation.
