BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
There are two expiring terms on the Senior Citizens Commission, one expiring term on the Site Plan & Architectural Review Committee, and one expiring term on the San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control District. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for these vacancies until the positions have been filled.
Government Code Section 54970 et seq. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application.
