Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the Interim City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Bickford Ventures Inc., dba Division 01 Construction Management Services of Lodi, for Construction Management Services for the City of Lodi Animal Shelter Project, extending the contract by eight (8) months.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On December 3, 2025, City Council approved Amendment No. 1 to this contract in order to provide funding for their construction management and inspection services through the completion of construction of the facility. Amendment No. 1 inadvertently omitted the necessary time extension to go along with those funds, as the original contract expiration was September 30, 2025.
If approved Amendment No. 2 will extend the contract by eight (8) months, for an updated expiration of May 31, 2026. No additional funding is necessary, as this time increase corresponds with the funding added with Amendment No. 1.
The original Professional Services Agreement was approved by City Council on June 5, 2024. The scope of work includes project management services, quality assurance testing, special inspection and related laboratory services related to the project.
