Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Agreement with Waterproofing Associates, Inc., of Lodi, for on-call citywide roof repair services in the amount of $60,000.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Public Works Facilities Division maintains an on-call roof repair contract with Waterproofing Associates, Inc., of Lodi. This on-call contract is used for roof repairs at all City-owned buildings, and annual expenditures vary depending on the number and severity of water leaks in a given year. The contract was originally executed by the City Manager on June 13, 2024, with a not-to-exceed amount of $60,000, and an expiration date of June 30, 2027.
On March 18, 2026, the City Council approved Amendment No. 1, adding $40,000 to the contract once the original contract amount had been fully expensed on necessary repairs.
The past two winters have produced significant storm activity, resulting in numerous roof leaks throughout the City. With the upcoming winter anticipated to be extremely wet, Public Works must proactively address existing roof issues to protect city facilities and prevent further water intrusion.
There are immediate repair needs at multiple buildings. Approving Amendment No. 2 will add $60,000, allowing these repairs to be completed promptly, ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and protected from additional storm-related damage.
Amendment No. 2, if approved, will add $60,000 to the agreement, increasing the total not-to-exceed amount to $160,000.
