BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Administrative Professionals Week is an annual celebration observed nationally to recognize the contributions of administrative professionals to the success of their organizations. City of Lodi Administrative Professionals play a crucial role in ensuring smooth functioning of our city’s operations. Their dedication, efficiency, and professionalism are invaluable assets.
In addition to a wide range of clerical tasks, record-keeping, and scheduling, administrative support staff’s work often requires advanced knowledge and expertise in communications and social media, budgets, website design, office technology, project management, and supervision, each of which allow these individuals to be the key public relations ambassadors for their respective departments. Administrative support staff often serve as the first point of contact for citizens, businesses, and other stakeholders, representing the city and offering assistance and information with professionalism and courtesy. Their commitment to excellent customer service fosters positive relationships with the community.
In recognition of Administrative Professionals Week, which falls during the week of April 21-27, 2024, the Mayor and Councilmembers acknowledge and honor all Administrative Professionals for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the city’s daily operations.
