Lodi Municipal Code Section 17.36.130 (Accessory Dwelling Units) has been removed from the proposed ordinance amendment considered at the October 15, 2025 City Council hearing. This action followed receipt of a public comment letter raising issues that warrant further review and clarification. Staff intends to make additional revisions to this section to ensure alignment with State housing law and local implementation objectives. The revised Accessory Dwelling Unit provisions will be brought forward for Council consideration at a future date. Accordingly, Section 17.36.130 has been excluded from the Phase 3 Code Amendments currently before the City Council.
