Appoint Donald Bradford to the Parks and Recreation Commission and Andrew Crete to the Lodi Arts Commission and post for one vacancy on the Lodi Improvement Committee and one vacancy on the San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City Council directed the City Clerk to post for one vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission on October 18, 2023, and two vacancies on the Lodi Arts Commission on November 1, 2023.
The Mayor reviewed the applications, conducted interviews, and recommends the City Council concur with the appointments as detailed below.
Due to recent resignation, there is one vacancy on the Lodi Improvement Committee. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for this vacancy for a period of 30 days. Due to a recent resignation, there is also one vacancy on the San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District. It is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for this vacancy until filled.
Government Code Section 54970 et seq. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application.
