BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
This professional services agreement expired on September 30, 2025. Due to minor delays in the project’s construction phase, Carollo Engineers’ services were needed through November 30, 2025 (the construction contract was accepted by Council on November 5, 2025). Amendment No. 4 is to extend the contract by two (2) months in order to pay for the services rendered after the contract expiration. No additional funds are necessary with this amendment.
The original agreement was authorized by Council on April 15, 2020 in an amount not to exceed $162,500. The original expiration was September 30, 2021.
Amendment No. 1 was executed on September 22, 2021. This amendment added the final design aspect of the project to the scope of work, adding $110,922 to the contract (for a total not to exceed amount of $273,422) and extending the term through September 30, 2022.
Amendment No. 2 was executed on November 1, 2022. This amendment added construction administration services to the scope of work, adding $170,000 to the contract (for a total not to exceed amount of $443,422) and extending the term through September 30, 2023.
Amendment No. 3 was executed on June 27, 2024, and extended the term of the contract through September 30, 2025 (no additional funds were added).
Amendment No. 4, if approved, would extend the term of the contract through November 30, 2025 to pay for services rendered in the months of October and November of 2025, which consisted of project close-out assistance and the preparation of record (as-built) drawings.
