BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
In March 2023, the City released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for security services at City Hall Campus, Hutchins Street Square, Lodi Public Library, Transit Station and Parking Structures.

In May 2023, City Council approved execution of a Professional Services Agreement with A1 Protective Services, LLC (Agreement); Resolution 2023-91. The term of the Agreement was for July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026 with an option to extend the terms for an additional five (5) one (1)-year extensions. The Agreement amount was Not-To-Exceed $1,599,000 per table A below. Refer to Attachment 1, Exhibit 1.

In July 2023, City Council approved Amendment No. 1, Resolution 2023-131, to expand the scope of services to include additional work for the Safety Ambassador Program at a cost of $815,000, increasing the Not-To-Exceed amount of the Agreement to $2,414,000. Refer to Attachment 1, Exhibit 1.
