Adopt a Resolution to Amend the Salary Schedule for the AFSCME - General Services Unit.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) uses a contracting agency’s salary schedule to establish compensation earnable for purposes of determining retirement benefits. CalPERS requires such salary schedules be publicly available and approved by the contracting agency’s governing body.
At its March 18, 2026 meeting, Council adopted Resolution No. 2026-053. Along with other matters, this resolution approved the salary schedule for classifications represented by the AFSCME - General Services Unit. It was later determined one classification (Watershed Program Coordinator) in the AFSCME - General Services Unit salary schedule showed incorrect information.
Council approval of the amened salary schedule will ensure continued compliance with CalPERS regulations.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Adoption of the amended salary schedule corrects an administrative error and does not result in any additional fiscal impact to the City.
