BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
On May 6, 2026, the City Council adopted Resolution 2026-077, at the recommendation of Mayor Pro Tempore Hothi, finding that the Booster of Boys and Girls Sports proposal complies with the Non-Profit Fund Policy, Council’s strategic vision, and that it will provide public benefit for the City of Lodi and its residents. The resolution approved a total allocation of $5,000 in public benefit funds to Booster of Boys and Girls Sports, from the District 5 Non-Profit Fund; and directed Booster of Boys and Girls Sports to provide quarterly reports to the City Clerk on the use of the non-profit funds received during the life of the project.
Mayor Pro Tempore Hothi will present a check of $5,000 to Booster of Boys and Girls Sports.
