BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
National Hospital Week is celebrated every year to recognize the vital roles of our hospitals, health systems and healthcare workers. This year’s theme is “#WeAreHealthCare!”. This week provides an opportunity to highlight our hospitals, health systems and health care workers and the innovative ways they support and are connected to our community.
Nationally, this week recognizes 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, and others who provide care to their community. We have seen our caregivers take on unimaginable challenges and have risen to the occasion repeatedly. That is why it is essential that we take a moment to acknowledge the impact hospitals have made on communities.
Locally, healthcare employees at Lodi Memorial Hospital, and at public and private regional hospitals across our County, are the people who keep our loved ones healthy and strong. We are proud and we are grateful for the care they provide and for their boundless dedication to seeing us through some of the hardest experiences we may have and may go through.
