On June 20, 2024, Council approved the agreements with Haggerty Construction, Inc. and Bickford Ventures for the construction of the new Animal Services Facility. A resolution also authorized appropriations to the Project, GFCP-22004.

Previous Council action has established Haworth Unigroup Furniture as the City's preferred office furniture manufacturer in order to maintain consistent designs at City facilities. Durst Contract Interiors is the local Haworth representative and utilizes the Sourcewell contract. If approved, a purchase order will be submitted in the amount of $99,843.78 for the purchase and installation of office systems furniture at the newly constructed Animal Services Facility. The proposal includes furnishing for the three administrative offices, an Animal Control Officer office with three workstations, a lobby reception and waiting area, a conference room, a breakroom, a multipurpose/training room, multiple clinics, and workstations throughout the building. A quote, building, and design plans are attached for reference.

Staff recommends Council adopt a resolution authorizing the purchase and installation of office systems furniture from Durst Contract Interiors in the amount of $99,843.78.
