BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Pursuant to City Council direction provided at the April 15, 2026, regular meeting, recruiter Greg Nelson of Mosaic Public Partners negotiated employment terms with City Manager candidate Kara Reddig. In accordance with the agreed terms, attached draft City Manager Employment Agreement with Kara Reddig (“Agreement”). The Agreement provides that she is to be employed as the City Manager for the City of Lodi beginning on June 22, 2026, for an initial term of three years. Under the Agreement, Ms. Reddig will be paid a base salary of $285,000.00.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The employment agreement reflects an initial annual base salary of $285,000.
FUNDING AVAILABLE:
No cost in excess of the current budget.
