BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Lodi Police Department (LPD) provides each sworn officer with essential safety equipment, including protective body armor vests, duty belts, holsters, flashlights, batons, and weapons. LPD routinely evaluates and replaces safety equipment to ensure City employees are equipped with reliable and industry-standard protective gear that is in compliance with current law enforcement standards and training requirements. Maintaining uniforms with consistent manufacturers, makes, and models for our equipment is critical to ensure all officers have the same equipment and can be adequately trained on its use.
LC Action Police Supply, located in San Jose, California, is a qualified vendor specializing in law enforcement equipment and public safety supplies. They have supplied equipment to numerous law enforcement agencies throughout California. The City has utilized LC Action Police Supply for more than fifteen (15) years.
