BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The City Council will present a proclamation recognizing September 15 through October 15, 2026, as National Hispanic Heritage Month in the City of Lodi. The proclamation celebrates the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans and recognizes the significant role Lodi’s Hispanic and Latino community has played in the City’s history, culture, economy, and civic life.
The proclamation is being presented on September 16, Mexican Independence Day, adding special significance to this year’s recognition.
