RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt a resolution authorizing the Interim City Manager or designee to award the contract for Citywide On-Call Electrical Services to Bockmon & Woody Electrical Co., Inc., of Stockton, in the amount of $69,080.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Electrical work occasionally is required as part of the general maintenance requirements of city facilities. This contract will allow the City to retain a contractor on an “as-needed” basis to quickly respond to any necessary electrical repairs. The Contract term will begin at contract execution and will expire on June 30, 2027. Additional extensions may be executed to a maximum of four (4) years total.
Staff requested bids for the contract utilizing the City’s Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act portion of the adopted purchasing policy (for projects estimated less than $220,000). One bid was received on September 24, 2025, in the amount of $69,080, from Bockmon & Woody Electrical Co., Inc. of Stockton.
Staff recommends authorizing the Interim City Manager or designee to award the contract for Citywide On-Call Electrical Services to Bockmon & Woody Electrical Co., Inc. for $69,080.
