BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
The Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, Senate Bill 1 (SB1), provides the City with State transportation funding through an increase in the Gas Tax.
SB1 guidelines require that prior to receiving an apportionment of funds for this fiscal year, agencies must prepare and submit a list of proposed SB1-funded projects to the California Transportation Commission. All proposed projects must also be included or amended into the City's adopted budget each year. The City is proposing to use the Fiscal Year 2025/26 allocation (estimated $1,800,830) to conduct the 2026/2027 Pavement Resurfacing Project.
The 2026/2027 Pavement Resurfacing Project, programmed for Fiscal Year 2026/27, will resurface numerous streets throughout the City as listed below and shown on Exhibit A. The work will also include pavement repair, pavement striping, and other miscellaneous and related work.

Krismont Street (Cabrillo Cir - Lodi Ave)
Bella Vista Drive (Cabrillo Cir - End)
Del Mont Street (Cabrillo Cir - Lodi Ave)
La Seffa Drive (Cabrillo Cir - End)
Wood Drive (Cabrillo Cir - Lodi Ave)
